Joann Feeney has long been interested in drawing and painting. As a young girl, she studied pastel and oil painting. She has participated in local art shows and had two solo exhibitions to date.
Her love of gardening is reflected in much of her work. Details of plants and flowers send her to the drawing board. You can see the results in the artwork displayed on this website. Horses, dogs, and the human form are other subjects that she enjoys capturing in her pieces of art.
Pastel is a favored medium, and much of her work is done in pastel and/or Conte. Pen and ink as well as watercolors are also included in her portfolio. The detailed work she is attracted to is usually done in ink.
Pieces displayed in the pastel, watercolor and pen and ink website galleries are available for purchase unless they are marked "sold". See the Purchase/Contact Information page for details.
